A dedicated student of the Pilates method for over 15 years, Bianca has completed thousands of personal and certified hours on the mat and apparatus, where she has trained with Body Arts and Science International (BASI) – a leading Pilates education academy which pushes its students to become masters in the art of movement and science of anatomy.
Beyond her books, Bianca considers her clients to have been her biggest teachers over the years. She has experience working with a number of different injuries and physical conditions. She has a particular interest in Pilates for women’s health which was inspired by her life-changing experiences of pregnancy, natural child birth and postpartum recovery.
For Bianca, there has been no better place to explore and challenge her practice of Pilates than in her own body. She has had multiple knee surgeries, chronic neck pain and various struggles with her physical and emotional health, all of which have led her on a journey of better understanding lifestyle stress and the mind-body connection.
South African-born, Bianca is also a keen walker, cyclist and writer and holds an Honours Degree with distinction in Journalism from the University of Cape Town (UCT). She is passionate about meditation and an avid reader. Bianca currently lives in Biot with her Swedish husband, two young children and dog.
